Al Corniche

Grand Mosque

The Grand Mosque or Imam Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab Mosque is the main and biggest mosque in Qatar. It is located in the Jubailat district of Doha just south of the Corniche, High on a hill overlooking the Qatar Sports Club in Doha's West Bay. This mosque is a perfect meld of tradition and modernity. Souq Waqif

Souq Waqif is the famous market place in Doha. It’s a hub of traditional garments, spices and classic handicrafts. Al Zubara Fort

Al Zubara Fort is Qatar’s largest archaeological heritage sight. It was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an example of a typical Arab fort, contemplating the authentic archeology and culture of Qatar. It is now Qatar’s largest heritage site, with an impressive city wall, ancient residential palaces and houses, markets, industrial areas and mosques. The fort is said to be a true testimony of an urban trading and pearl - diving tradition which has sustained a large part of the coastal town from the Islamic period.

Al Khor

Al Khor is a coastal city in northern Qatar, located 50 kilometres north of the capital, Doha. It is considered to be a domestic eco-tourism destination. It is well-known for its fishing industry and stunning beaches. This city holds an intriguing mix of old & new. Here one can visualize some of the modern architectures of Qatar. Bring the kids to enjoy family-friendly Al Khor Beach, which has cabanas, barbecue grills, showers and restrooms. About a 15-minute drive southwest of the town, Al Khor Park has a children’s playground, restrooms and small zoo and animal sanctuary.

Dhow Cruise with corniche walk

Enjoy the incredible cruise journey on a traditional wooden sailing boat known as Dhow. Take a walk along the Corniche road and watch the sunset. Discover the magnificent waterfront from both land and water.
